What counts as a dental emergency?
Any dental issue causing pain, swelling, bleeding, or trauma to the teeth or gums is typically considered an emergency. This includes toothaches, knocked-out or broken teeth, infections, and anything that makes it hard to eat, sleep, or function normally. If you’re unsure, just call — we’re here to help you figure it out.
Can you get me in the same day?
Yes, we reserve time each day for emergencies. If you’re in pain or something feels off, call us as soon as possible. The earlier in the day we hear from you, the more options we have to get you seen quickly.
What if I'm not a current patient?
That’s totally okay. We welcome both new and existing patients for emergency visits. Whether it’s your first time with us or you haven’t seen a dentist in years, we’re here to help — no judgment, just care.
Will it hurt?
We do everything we can to keep you comfortable, including numbing and sedation options when needed. More often than not, our patients feel relief during their emergency visit — not more pain.
What happens after the emergency visit?
Once we’ve addressed the immediate problem, we’ll walk you through any next steps. This might include a follow-up appointment, a crown, a root canal, or just some time to heal. We’ll give you a clear plan, answer all your questions, and never pressure you into treatment.
