About mend dental

Quality of care and quality of experience, hand in hand.

Dr. Monique SisonDr. Monique Sison, DDS
Founder, mend dental

mend dental was built around a specific vision for what a dental office should feel like: one where the quality of care and the quality of the experience go hand in hand.

Every material we use, every technique we choose, and every treatment we recommend is guided by one question: what is truly best for this patient long term? That means preserving healthy tooth structure whenever possible, getting to the root of problems rather than patching over them, and never recommending something just because it is the easier path.

We also know that for a lot of people, going to the dentist is not something they look forward to. So we put just as much thought into how you feel in our office as we do into the clinical work itself. From the moment you arrive, our focus is on making sure you feel comfortable, informed, and in good hands.

iTero Lumina 3D intraoral scanner in use at mend dental
iTero Lumina · 3D scans and crown & bridge impressions

A quick, comfortable picture of your whole mouth.

A small wand glides over your teeth for a few minutes. No radiation, no discomfort. Your teeth appear on the screen in full color so we can look at them together.

  • Shows changes in your teeth and gums over time
  • Helps us spot small issues early
  • Highlights issues with your bite
Overjet AI · X-rays

A second set of eyes on every X-ray.

Software highlights areas of concern right on your X-ray, so you can see what we're talking about instead of taking our word for it. Dr. Sison reviews everything herself.

  • Points to cavities and bone changes on the image
  • Easier to understand at a glance
  • Helpful if you ever want a second opinion
Overjet AI overlay highlighting findings on a dental X-ray
Digital radiography · Low-dose X-rays

Clearer pictures, much less radiation.

Digital X-rays use a fraction of the radiation of old film X-rays and appear instantly on the screen. We only take them when they would change what we do.

  • Up to 80% less radiation than film
  • On the screen right away, enlarged so you can see
  • Only when needed

Yes. The iTero Lumina scanner uses light, not radiation, to build a digital model of your teeth. A full scan takes a few minutes and is completely painless.

No. Overjet highlights areas on your X-rays that may need attention, but every finding is reviewed and every diagnosis is made by Dr. Sison. Think of it as a second set of eyes, not a replacement for a dentist.

Not the goopy kind. An iTero Lumina digital scan captures your tooth in high resolution and is sent straight to the lab, which means a better fit and fewer adjustments.
