At the visit

- 1Assess how far it has spreadExam, X-ray and a look at your overall symptoms.
- 2Relieve pressureDraining the infection, with numbing, usually brings fast relief.
- 3Treat the sourceDeep cleaning, extraction or a specialist referral depending on the cause. Antibiotics when appropriate, never as the only fix.
- 4Follow up closelyWe check in the next day and see you again to make sure it has cleared.
