Something hurts. Call us first.

We hold time in the schedule every single day for people who did not plan to see a dentist today. You will talk to a person, not a menu, and we will tell you exactly what to do next.

(949) 251-0011 We open at 7 am today. Leave a message and we call back first thing.
What to do right now
Knocked-out tooth

Pick it up by the white part, not the root. Rinse it for a few seconds if dirty, do not scrub. Put it back in the socket if you can, or keep it in a cup of milk. Come straight in; within an hour is best.

Then call us. We will take it from there.
How an emergency visit works here

You are having a bad day. We plan for that.

An emergency is not a shorter version of a regular appointment. It is a different visit, built around one goal: get you out of pain today and make the next decision easy.

01 Time held every dayWe block emergency time in the schedule before the day starts, so "same day" is a plan, not a favor.
02 A person answersCall and you talk to our front desk, who will ask what happened and tell you what to do before you arrive.
03 Comfort comes firstGentle numbing before anything else. Blankets, Netflix, and Bose Frames if the sound of the office is too much.
04 We show you the pictureA quick X-ray and 3D scan, on the screen in front of you, so you understand what is going on before we talk options.
05 Price before treatmentYou hear what we found, what the options are and what each costs. Nothing starts until you say so. Payment plans available.
06 We check on youA call or text the next day to make sure the pain is gone and the plan still makes sense.

When you arrive

Comfortable fast. Then a clear plan.

  1. 1Quick check-in, then straight backA short form covers your health history and insurance, and you can fill it out on your phone before you arrive. Then we get you into a room and take a look.
  2. 2Pain relief comes firstIf you are hurting, gentle numbing happens before anything else. Then a focused exam and an X-ray of the problem area only.
  3. 3Fix what can be fixed todayMost emergencies get definitive or temporary treatment in the same visit: a filling, a recemented crown, a smoothed edge, or draining an infection.
  4. 4A clear next stepYou leave knowing what happens next, when, and what it will cost, with instructions for managing any soreness at home and a number to call if anything changes.

Emergency questions, answered.

Anything that hurts, bleeds, is swelling, or has broken. A toothache that keeps you up, a cracked or knocked-out tooth, a lost filling or crown, an abscess or a swollen jaw. If you are not sure, call. We would rather talk you through it than have you wait.

Usually, yes. We hold time in the schedule every day for emergencies. Call (949) 251-0011 as early as you can and we will do our best to get you in that day.

Call our number and follow the prompts for an after-hours message. For a knocked-out tooth, uncontrolled bleeding, facial swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, or a jaw injury, go to the nearest emergency room first and call us the next morning.

The emergency exam and X-ray are covered by most PPO plans. Before any treatment we explain what we found, what your options are and what each costs, so you can decide with confidence. Payment plans are available.

No. We see new patients for emergencies all the time, and many of them stay.

Do not wait it out. Call.

Dental pain rarely gets better on its own, and small problems get expensive when they wait. Two minutes on the phone is all it takes to know what to do.
