Our membership is $399 a year. It covers your two cleanings, two exams and the routine X-rays that go with them, plus a fluoride treatment, and members receive 20% off select treatment. Here is how to decide whether it is right for you.
What the $399 covers
Two professional cleanings, two exams with Dr. Sison, the routine X-rays taken at those visits, and one fluoride treatment. Priced individually, that same year of preventive care costs meaningfully more. The membership bundles it at a discount; you pay once and you are covered.
Members also receive 20% off select treatment. If a filling or crown does come up during the year, that discount is applied to the written estimate before you decide anything.
How it compares with insurance
Dental insurance typically costs $30 to $60 a month, so $360 to $720 a year, and comes with deductibles, annual maximums around $1,500, waiting periods for major work, and a list of what it will not cover. It mostly pays for the same preventive care a membership does.
A membership has none of that machinery. No deductible, no maximum, no claims, no waiting period. What it does not do is help with the cost of larger treatment, which is where insurance, imperfect as it is, contributes.
Who it suits
Self-employed people and retirees without a dental plan. Families where one member has coverage and another does not. Anyone whose insurance has a long waiting period or who has already used up their annual maximum. And people who simply want to know what dentistry costs before they sit down.
Who should skip it
If you know you have significant treatment ahead, an insurance plan with a good annual maximum may save you more, even with the premiums. We will run both numbers for you honestly. The right answer is whichever leaves you with more money and a healthy mouth.
If treatment comes up: payment plans
The membership handles prevention. For larger treatment, with or without insurance, we offer monthly payment plans through three partners so the cost can be spread out rather than paid at once.
Sunbit approves most patients in about 30 seconds with a soft credit check that does not affect your score. Cherry offers flexible terms, including interest-free options for qualified applicants. HFD provides longer-term plans with no hard credit pull and no prepayment penalty.
Preventive care, priced plainly.
