Usually no numbing is needed. Bonding is painted on and cured with a light. If the chip is deep and sensitive, we numb the area first.

Several years with normal care. Avoid biting fingernails, pens or ice on that tooth. We check it at every exam.

Often, as a restorative repair. We verify your plan and give you the cost before we start.

A little. But chips grow, catch stain, and can expose the softer layer underneath. Two weeks is fine; two years is not.
